Rates

	Rates I offer a competitive service and am able to provide a fixed price for a project, or work to an hourly/word rate – available on request. If you would like to discuss the needs of a particular project, I can offer a free, non-obligatory quotation. Proofreading hard copy – I will use the BSi marks for copy preparation and proof correction and return the original copy, clearly marked up, by post. I will not keep a copy of the proofs, so I would recommend using recorded or special delivery post (postage and packaging is charged as extra). Perfetto Proofreading cannot be held responsible for items that are delayed or lost in the post. Proofreading on screen – I will use Microsoft Word (unless a different software package is agreed prior to commencing the work) which will allow me to add 'comments' and ‘track changes' made to the document. I will send the amended electronic file via email. Using Microsoft Word will allow you to view the original document, the document containing all of the changes and the 'final' version, with all of the changes incorporated. I will keep a copy of all edited on-screen work for a period of 60 days. I would advise you to make a copy of the file once you receive it, as I will not be able to provide a replacement after the 60-day period.
